It seems that the “need for greater range” of attack is a good explanation for the reason behind the manufacturing of Yafa drone, which is a UAV that has its roots in the Sammad class, and is considered as a big development in terms of range, compared to previous drones.
The first prototype of the Samad class drones was unveiled in 2018. Like Yaffa UAV, Samad had a long and flat wing design, which could reach a greater range, while it rises high in the air. The aircraft needs to fly at high altitudes in order to be able to reach a greater range in this flying method.
