Description

The Sovereign is the most trusted, oldest and is bullion like no other on earth. It can be liquid within 20 minutes in any country city or village globally. While funny people abound and some may prefer not to purchase Krugerrand for obvious reasons but the Sovereign is in another league. this is what Pomp decided to harm thinking nothing of others history and reputation and I believe this is a reflection of Mr India’s own reputation. 7.89 grams, 24k  – 9.89% pure.

1kg (1000 grams) 24k Pure Gold Bar directly from the Royal Mint. Guaranteed by the LBMA in London it was the most respected (trusted) gold bullion supplier. I would say some time ago around the time PAMP was founded; it was during this time that the LBMA lost much of its credibility. I believe PAMP India often termed PAMP Swiss. While said mint may have had retailers in Europe; it was entirely based in India. Not that there is anything wrong with being based in India; only that when you find enough small or marketing white lies and the smoke is much more vile that already means a fire has or is still burning. It also was clear when you find a product that is well known globally and has been for hundreds of years if not thousands, and you trust the said item regarding to its weight, purity etc. The way Pamp India managed to acquire their LBMA license is something altogether a mystery. Let me explain imagine you where required to be trading consistently and visibly in plain sight for at least 5 years, not only was this mandated but even then for example many such firms exist but they have no license. This is the trading company also is required to have a fellow to stand surety, not just to cover debts but more importantly to guarantee your reputation meaning if you were aware of anything that may cause a stink not only would the new licensee be withheld but you risk losing your licensee even if you had nothing to do with the problem. I have asked this question many times at the time while LBMA was almost divine a handshake meant a deal and much more. So if that was true and it was how can a new company who not only carried questions but was also fighting drug dealing charges yes PAMP’s founder was accused of dealing in hard drugs and while this was not proved it was real enough and enough context and proof existed so for me the chance it was just a jealous trader trying to harm Pamp India I don’t believe that story carries and weight whatsoever.  I have not even provided what I consider to be much more suspect and if nothing else it proves going against Bullion totally in order to trick buyers I believe a terrible and ugly trick in really low class. It could also destroy thousands of year of the most sought after bullion coin on earth.

How are bullion prices calculated?

The ‘buy’ and ‘sell’ prices shown on the website represent the market value of raw vaulted metal in an ‘unallocated’ form. This is the standard way prices are quoted throughout the bullion industry. In order for The Royal Mint to deliver beautifully crafted precious metals products to your address, or to our vault, a number of processes must take place, all of which incur a cost. These processes include transportation, refining, minting, quality checking and merchandising.

The price at which The Royal Mint is able to sell bullion products to consumers is therefore made up of the ‘spot price’ (the buy price) plus an additional premium. The premium accounts for the costs incurred in manufacturing a particular product and is usually either a percentage of the buy price or a fixed monetary amount. In short, manufactured bullion products always sell at a premium to enable retailers and manufacturers to cover their costs.

Can I spend/pay using my bullion coins?

All UK coins, whether circulating or non-circulating, are authorised as legal tender by Royal Proclamation, in accordance with the Coinage Act of 1971.

Legal tender allows UK coins to be accepted for payment of debts in court but, only circulating legal tender coins are designed to be spent and traded at businesses and banks. The Royal Mint creates commemorative and bullion coin series to celebrate key moments or individuals, and these are treasured for their collectable and aesthetic value, or purchased for investment opportunities. However, these non-circulating, commemorative and bullion coins are limited edition and will not enter general circulation meaning banks and businesses are not required to accept them.
